Join Gina on Tuesday, April 28th for a 75-minute flow for Runners! 6:30-7:45pm.
Runners just wanna run. But for runners who want to run faster and stronger, yoga is a perfect addition to their training. This extended class is designed as a “warm-up” to the Broad Street Run 10-miler, but will offer benefits for runners of all paces, goals and distances.
Whether you’re gearing up for a spring race or just like to get out for a few easy miles, this class will offer the opportunity to strengthen areas of the body that are beneficial for runners, like the core, hips and legs. At the same time, you’ll open up those tight spots that can cause discomfort or slow you down. We’ll work to improve the functions you need most on the run, while releasing tightness and making space in the body.
Yoga is also excellent for improving mental clarity and resilience, which can be a key to stepping up to a new level of performance. Throughout class there will be opportunities to incorporate mindfulness and focus that you can call upon during those tough moments of a race or training run.
This will be a 75-minute class designed for yogis, runners and athletes of all levels of experience.
