We’ve made some videos for our yogis to help them with some of the poses we do in our Conshohocken yoga studio. Videos are sometimes the best way for us to learn. The videos will break down some of the poses, from arm balance poses to sun salutations.

In power yoga, one of the first arm balances you learn is crow pose.
We do a lot of planks, high planks and low planks at Sol Yoga Studio, watch this video to make sure you are doing them correctly to avoid injuring your shoulder.
In our power yoga classes, we work on handstand kick-ups. They are really fun, but they can also be intimidating at the same time. This video shows you how you start with baby kicks.
If you don’t’ have a lot of time to get on your mat or get to a power yoga class, it’s okay. Life gets in the way and gets busy. If you have 5 or 10 minutes in the morning, I recommend you do some sun salutations to give you energy. If you start your day with a few of these, you will feel really good.
Cat Cow Pose
If you are like the most of us, you probably have some low back pain or discomfort. One pose you can do to help that is cat cow pose.
One of the questions I get a lot is, “How can I work on my balance? One of the most grounding balance poses is tree pose. You can do it when you brush your teeth in the morning and at night to practice.
