As I’ve always said, power yoga complements many sports, such as running, swimming, etc., and should be incorporated into an athlete’s practice.

I am so excited to say that Sol Yoga Studio will be bringing power yoga to La Salle High School’s boys lacrosse and wrestling teams. La Salle College High School is an all-boys Catholic high school located at 8605 Cheltenham Avenue, Wyndmoor, Pennsylvania.
After talking to the coaches, we will be incorporating power yoga into the team’s practice as of September 22, 2015. We will meet every Tuesday afternoon for eight weeks. I will be there to teach power yoga to the players, as well as the coaches!
I have worked with many sports teams before, such as a boys swim team and an ice hockey team, but this will be the biggest group of athletes. There will be about 60 kids each session!
This is such an exciting and great opportunity for me as a power yoga instructor. I am looking forward to sharing my practice with the team!
If you are a sports coach in Conshohocken, Plymouth Meeting, Blue Bell or the surrounding areas and would like more information about incorporating power yoga into your sport team’s practice, feel free to email me at angela@solyogastudio.com or call me at 610.636.0391. I would be more than happy to talk to you about power yoga and the benefits for athletes!
Namaste!
