Can you relate to the image shown above? If so join us for a 2 hour meditation workshop with Allison Sobel that discusses its science, philosophy and practical applications. Participants will be given the tools needed to establish the groundwork for a sustainable home practice. This program introduces you to several major techniques from the yogic and Buddhist traditions, including:
o Meditation on the breath
o Mantra Meditation
o Loving-kindness meditation
Participants will be introduced to those above meditation practices and the principles on which they are based. There will be periods of silent sitting as well as discussions. This workshop will provide a foundation to apply mindfulness practices into your daily life.
*Please note that this is NOT a yoga class. Please dress in comfortable attire.*
