With the busy world we live in today it is so difficult to carve out time for ourselves. We rarely get an opportunity to draw our attention inward, where our inner light resides. A Yin yoga practice is the perfect compliment to all of our ‘yang’ or active exercise and activities. Yin Yoga is the practice of static sinking. We will place the body into shapes that will work on lengthening and ‘exercising’ our connective tissue and working deep into the fascia that holds our body together. The practice of Yin yoga helps to bring mobility to the body and through long, static holds can bring the mind inward to a relaxed and peaceful state.
