Three years ago changed my life forever when I decided to try a power yoga class that a few of my friends had been going to. I figured why not, I needed a different work out. I took yoga in college but nothing like this! After the first class, I was hooked. Yoga made me not only physically stronger but also mentally. From my practice I have learned more about myself and my body in that year then I had ever imagined. Yoga is a must-do!!!
I have taken Angela’s yoga class for the last 5 years and it has been a wonderful experience. She pushes you to gain strength in your body and tone muscles you did not know you had. She encourages you in her sweet/tough way, I don’t know how to explain it, you’ll just have to take her class. Power yoga has done wonders on my back. When I am not consistent with it, I notice the difference and I need to be back on my mat. I look to where Ang is teaching, because I know I will get a great workout with her as the instructor. I have perspired gallons and gallons of sweat through the years with Ang, and it is all totally worth it! Thank you Ang for getting me into yoga… I love it!
My yoga journey has only recently begun, thanks to Ang! Yoga was something I knew very little about but always wanted to try. After taking just one class with Ang, I was completely hooked! Throughout the past few months, I can honestly say that I’ve noticed improvement in my balance, strength, and flexibility. Besides the obvious physical results, I’ve been able to apply the calm and peacefulness that yoga brings to my everyday life. I find myself better able to handle stress, live in the present moment, and not worry so much about things that I cannot control.
Not only does yoga help me with flexibility, but also strength and muscle control. Any guy who thinks yoga is just for girls, should try power yoga with Ang. It really is a full body workout. Be warned though…. The results are addicting!
I love Jan’s class. She mixes up the music and poses each week—you never know what you are going to get. She is a tough instructor but you can feel very comfortable going at your own pace too. You know you got a good work out in when you are done with her class and you sleep like a baby that night!
I have been experiencing the joys of yoga for over 3-4 years now. It’s amazing how it brings me back to my the days I was competing in gymnastics. Being able to perform movements/positions that involve the strength and flexibility I once had at a younger age makes me feel alive. I truly believe that everyone should attempt yoga once in their life. It’s a sense of accomplishment and once you finish your first session, you feel complete. Whether you’re a beginner or very advanced, there is always something to focus on achieving. I will always continue yoga and highly recommend practicing. It’s well worth it!
